CME 10/12/15 – Hyperglycaemia (new), DKA / HHS (pending) Guidelines and Mx Records

Here are the new documents discussed by Dr Joey Kaye (Endocrinologist SCGH) at CME today.

• The Adult Insulin Subcutaneous Order and Blood Glucose Record (below) has been approved for use, and is currently being used on the wards at SCGH.

The following DKA & HHS guidelines and management records are currently being used at FSH and are under review for use at all tertiary hospitals.

• Adult Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) Guidelines and Management Record

• Adult Hyperosmolar Hyperglycaemic State (HHS – formery known as HONK) Guidelines and Management Record
